We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team as an either Senior or Junior Business Development Analyst for Open Access projects and PSO tenders and become part of our planned international growth with the focus on German market. How will your tasks look like?
- You are ready to work with us to prepare for our re-entry into the German railway passenger market
- You will conduct strategic market analysis for our participation in PSO tender procedures in Germany and our planned growth with international open access services
- You will support our international Business Development team in preparing business plans, both with your project management skills and in handling individual sub-projects such as operations planning
- You will support and, with your fluent German language skills, assist in professional communication with stakeholders in Germany, for example with public transport authorities and infrastructure managers
- Preparation of presentations for the board and internal committees
- Close cooperation with the entire international Business Development team
- Further development of interdepartmental cooperation
What do we expect from you?
- University education in economics or traffc planning (or other comparable subject)
- Strong analytic skills
- Ideally, initial experience in a transport company
- A good understanding of the German railway passenger market
- A high affinity for rail passenger transport and a strong understanding of the operational, technical and commercial context
- Advanced knowledge of MS OFFICE (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Fluent written and spoken English which is working language in our Business Development department; any other European foreign language, especially French, Polish, Ukrainian and / or Spanish, is a plus
- Strong hands-on mentality and ability to work independently as well as in a team with good soft skills
- Willingness for occasional business trips in the Central European region with the focus on Germany
- Ability to work at least 80 hours per month (for the Junior position)
